Eugene Linwood, Jr.  is an African American Christian author and Veteran of the United States Army. He served as a military police foreign liaison officer driving and protecting General Colin Powell, Dick Cheney, Norman Schwarzkopf  and scores of other national and international world leaders. He spent a tour of duty in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and tours in Europe and the United States. Between those careers, he’s been the president of Reaching Out Beyond Bars and the executive director of America For Youth Foundation. He currently owns and operates both Linwood Unlimited Productions and Linwood Books; a Christian owned bookstore and such, for the glory of God.

After his honorable discharge, Linwood's bout with PTSD and combat stress led to addiction and behavioral patterns, leading him to incarceration.  While in federal detention, he conducted seminars and published "Young, Gifted, and Incarcerated" and founded Reaching Out Beyond Bars (R.O.B.B.) as a nonprofit to reach America's at‑risk youth.

As owner of Linwood Books, he focuses his attention on bringing Christ into the hearts and minds of the readers. He hopes that his life story will be a testament to the grace and power of Almighty God. Through multimedia‑faceted approaches, Linwood has been busy creating avenues and collaborations with many other Christians similarly situated. He recently developed Big Sky Operation Safe Streets (B.O.S.S.) using his unique educational paradigm to reach at-risk youth caught up under the grip and snares of the Devil. Linwood has been educated on both the mean streets and gutters of America and holds three degrees of higher education. He has been blessed to receive accolades and endorsements from federal judge Honorable Joe Billy McDade, Rep. Marvin L. Abney (RI), and Montana Supreme Court Justice McGrath.  He has appeared on several multimedia platforms, including television and radio. He holds membership in DAV, VFW and Toastmasters International.
